Fostering a love of reading
With more than 21,000 books and magazines in French and English, the Ecole Jacques Prévert’s two libraries are among the best stocked of all the institutions in London’s AEFE network.
The Bibliothèque Centre Documentaire (BCD)
For many years now, the Ecole Jacques Prévert’s French library and document centre has been managed by librarian and teacher Evelyne Hagg. It offers a centre for reading and writing within the school as well as a research hub, thanks to its comprehensive collection and IT resources.

The English Library
Pupils visit the English Library every Wednesday morning, from CP onwards, to enjoy more than 3,500 document resources with the help and guidance of teacher and librarian Hannah John. Our pupils are avid consumers of young-reader literature in English, and this library offers them the possibility of consulting and reserving their favourite works of fiction online.
