Wellbeing Wednesday – Friendship Stop: Drawing Competition
25 Jan 2023
This week's post is an invitation to get creative and crafty. Our Friendship Stop is in need of a make-over, it is time to refresh it which means it is drawing competition time!
The Friendship Stop was initiated by the children in 2021 as a place to go in the courtyard to find a friend or a place to go and wait if you need a friend – ‘Meet Friends and Make Friends”, that is the message. This is a positive and empowering tool that the children enjoy using, so it is only right that they design it.
The Morning and Afternoon clubs will support the project, but everyone can enter – so: READY, STEADY, DRAW!
All classes will vote for their favourite drawing and then the 5 entries with the most votes will take pride of place in the playground on rotation. Guidance below:
-
Drawing competition from 25th January to 31st January (Deadline: 31st January!)
-
Entries on A4 paper landscape layout - full name and class on the back please
-
Drawings to be given to the class teacher by 31st January
-
Polling days – Thursday 2nd & Friday 3rd February
-
Wednesday 8th February: The 5 favourite drawings will be announced and displayed in rotation on the Friendship Stop.
Good luck to everyone - we are looking forward to seeing all your creations!
Best wishes,
Mrs Weber
