🎄 Wellbeing Wednesday: Festive Cheer at École Jacques Prévert 🎄
04 Dec 2024
As December unfolds, École Jacques Prévert is buzzing with excitement and festive spirit! The countdown to Christmas is not just about the holidays but also about fostering joy, connection, and giving back to our community.
Here's a glimpse of how we're celebrating this magical time together:
Christmas Concerts 🎶
Our talented pupils have been working hard to prepare for this year’s Christmas concerts. These joyful performances will showcase their creativity and team spirit, bringing the magic of the season alive through music and songs. Let’s celebrate their efforts and applaud their talents!
Pantomime and Christmas Shows Fun 🎭
Laughter is guaranteed this month as our pupils head out to enjoy Christmas pantomimes and shows. With lively performances, catchy songs, and plenty of festive humor, these outings promise to delight everyone. Both children and teachers are eagerly anticipating the joy and excitement of the festive season!
Secret Santa Surprises 🎁
The tradition of Secret Santa is spreading joy in every corner of the school. In some classes, pupils and teachers are exchanging thoughtful gifts, fostering kindness and gratitude—a perfect reminder of the true spirit of Christmas.
Christmas Jumper Day – Thursday 12th December 🧥✨
Don’t forget to dig out your most festive Christmas jumper and wear it to school on Thursday 12th December. Whether it’s sparkly, silly, or stylish, your jumper will bring cheer to the day! Let’s make it extra meaningful by donating to a good cause, "Save the Children"; every contribution counts, and together we can spread joy beyond our school gates. Why These Events Matter for Wellbeing 💕
The holiday season can be a busy time, but these festive activities remind us of the importance of togetherness, joy, and giving. Events like the concerts, Secret Santa, and jumper day allow us to bond, share laughter, and make memories that strengthen our school community. They also teach valuable lessons about generosity, teamwork, and celebrating diversity.
We encourage everyone to embrace the festivities, whether through singing, performing, or simply cheering on your peers. Let’s make this season a time of connection, creativity, and kindness!
I will finish today's Wellbeing Wednesday by sharing the advent calendar of kindness that could be a lovely idea with a really great link to one of our school values. We are encouraging the children to complete any of these activities that they feel they can do and we wanted to share this with our community too.
Wishing you all a wonderful Christmas full of moments to cherish and happy holidays.
